A bit about me

The creative aspirations of a marketer should always point towards constructing meaningful relationships that help others evolve and succeed.


Having worked as a writer, marketer and team leader in various professional contexts, adhering to this belief is generating more meaningful results than I could have envisioned, impacting lives and business outcomes.


This is what I'm focused on when I'm not spending time with my beautiful family or writing fiction in the early hours of the day.



Customer Marketing Manager

As the customer marketing manager at FourKites, I collaborate with customer success, sales, product and executive teams in the organization while developing and leading marketing programs and content that build customer engagement, advocacy and upsell opportunities, as well as operationalizing abstract ideas and processes that improve customer touch points and streamline the customer journey.



I wrote several articles on consumer-facing tech and software for a prominent online publication, online-tech-tips.com.


Content Strategist / Content Marketing Manager

As the content marketing manager and technology writer at Compuware, I focused on strategizing, writing, editing and promoting high-level and technical thought leadership content supporting the company's software toolset and messages advocating for modern development and business culture, processes and tools.

At Ignite XDS, I led a team of content developers in strategizing and developing content as well as managing social media for several accounts, mainly automotive dealers. 


AdWords Account Manager

National Network of Depression Centers

While in college, I helped NNDS improve their online presence via Google AdWords campaigns and optimized landing pages I created with a small team of other marketing professionals. All work for the nonprofit was completely pro bono.



Traffic Digital Agency

I interned as a copywriter for a digital marketing and advertising agency in summer 2013. I mostly wrote blog posts and web copy for an array of clients, but also helped manage Google AdWords and Analytics activities.

While attending university full time, I worked full time leading a team of workers in building maintenance, grounds and construction projects for a property company. It was a far cry from the creative career I was pursuing, but an invaluable four-year lesson in leadership, project management and customer experience.
